Saudi Arabia plans $6.9bn mining city project

Saudi Arabia is planning to invest SR26bn ($6.9bn) in a new industrial zone for mining companies in the north of the country.

Taqa blames 'external factors' for 26% slump in net profit

The Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (Taqa) said Tuesday its provisional net profit declined 26 per cent on year in 2011 to Dh752 million.
